Stories from Palestine
The Palestinian Stories gathering is the pilot session of Al Manakh Spaces initiative, a program designed to activate the urban farm as an open platform for diverse communities in Sharjah and the UAE.
This first session brought together Palestinian women to share traditional dishes such as Burgul Banadora and Musakhan. Alongside cooking, the group exchanged knowledge on land cultivation, plant uses, and cultural practices, while engaging in artistic workshops and storytelling.
By combining food, memory, and dialogue, the session reinforced community ties and highlighted the role of Al Manakh Spaces in celebrating cultural heritage, promoting sustainable practices, and fostering collective growth.
