SAT Tours is a series of monthly guided walking tours aimed at mapping neighbourhoods across contemporary Sharjah. These tours focus on specific architectural and urban projects that define the characteristics of each neighbourhood and on how a shifting population is repeatedly reorganized as the city undergoes rapid growth. Through the act of walking and engaging at the street level, we will follow Sharjah’s urban development from the historic settlement along the creek to the new neighbourhoods further inland.

SAT Tours will be held on the third Saturday of every month, with new itineraries announced in the first week of the month. This event is free and open to the public, but prior registration is required.
