Sharjah Architecture Triennial (SAT) was founded by Sheikh Khalid Bin Sultan Al Qasimi (1980-2019) and Emiri Decree No. 23, issued on March 13, 2018, recognized it as an independent program.Our Board of Directors supports the Triennial in meeting its mission.The SAT Board is currently led by Sheikha Hoor Al Qasimi, President of Sharjah Architecture Triennial and President and Director of Sharjah Art Foundation, and includes Khalid Bin Butti Al Muhairi, Chairman of the Sharjah Directorate of Town Planning and Survey; Khaled Al Huraimel, Group Chief Executive Officer of Bee'ah; and George Katodrytis, Professor and Head of Department of Architecture at the American University of Sharjah.The Triennial is supported by the Government of Sharjah.
