Planting Workshop
As part of Al Manakh Spaces initiative and its mandate to engage in conversations around green living within the city, SAT has initiated the creation of an urban garden at Al Qasimiyah School. This planting workshop involved local residents and neighbours by allowing them to plant a section of the urban farm themselves whilst receiving instruction and information from our farming consultant regarding the farm, permaculture, soil building, and soil health. By partaking in this formative stage of building this community urban farm, we hope that participants, old and new, are able to forge a connection and investment in the future development of the initiative.
