Knowledge Exchange: Plants Drawing Workshop
This workshop involved children of the neighbourhood of Al Manakh in conversations about drought-resistant plants in the broader context of encouraging sustainable green living within the city. The children had the opportunity to forage for leaves, flowers, etc., of plants in the Cooking Section of the garden at Al Qasimiyah School, while learning about their uses and features, and then drawing their finds to create botanical cards to help further inform the process of selecting plants for Al Manakh Spaces.
