Anum Laghari (Senior Communications Coordinator)
Anum Laghari is the Senior Communications Coordinator at Sharjah Architecture Triennial, where she has been part of the core team since 2018. Born in the UK and raised in Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE, she holds a bachelor’s degree in Architectural Engineering from the United Arab Emirates University in Al Ain. Over the years, she has played a key role in shaping the institution’s communications and outreach, drawing on her background in architecture and cultural programming.
Prior to joining SAT, Anum gained experience in contracting and consulting firms in the UAE and participated in several research projects with a particular focus on sustainability and social housing. She has also contributed to major cultural platforms in the UAE, including the National Pavilion UAE at the 15th International Architecture Exhibition of the Venice Biennale, Art Dubai, and Dubai Design Week, where she worked across Communications, Programming, and Community Outreach.
