SAT Research is a core unit of the institution positioned to cultivate and support critical inquiry on socio-urban issues. A key driver is to foster collective thinking on urgent global social and environmental issues that demand a re-evaluation of architecture and urbanism praxes.

The inaugural project, Living Continuity, is an invitation to broaden our understanding of the parameters of spatial justice in times of accelerated urban renewal and neoliberal urbanism. We will reflect on tools to coalesce plural views through shared insights on interdependence, community-building and spatial practice.
